Sarah Lois Vaughan (March 27, 1924 – April 3, 1990) is considered by some to exist as one of a greatest female jazz singers in the history of the genre, along with Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Originally from either Newark, New Jersey , she began performing with Earl Hines in the early 1940s, but shortly broke away by owning Billy Eckstine. Eckstine & Vaughan, along by using Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker stayed together for a period, though she went solo around 1945. "Tenderly" & "It's Magic" became popular when you took a late 1940s, and she continued to build in her fanbase in the 1950s with songs like "Misty" & "Broken-Hearted Melody." She continued swimming by having a select few of the large list in the business, including Miles Davis and Jimmy Jones.
Vaughan was married 4 days: to bandleader George Treadwell, to broker footbcompletely streaming video player Clyde Atkins, to Las Vegas restauranter Marshall Fisher, & to jazz trumpeter Waymon Reed; all ended inside divorcement.
Nicknamed "Sassy", Vaughan continued recording jazz & popular material on the kind of labels in the 1950s, 60s, 70s and early 80s. She died around 1990.
